In order to find the correct replacement leaf springs for a trailer you first need to start by noting the type whether that be slipper or double eye. Then, you'll need to measure their unloaded length via jacking up the trailer. If the springs are worn they will measure longer than their replacement. Lastly, you will need to note the axle capacity which is found on the tag in the center of the beam. If you want to upgrade capacity, that's fine but keep in mind the ride could be a bit rougher.... view full answer...
Tongue weight is typically between 10% and 15% of your trailer's total weight depending on what you have loaded in the back and on the tongue. This would give your 8,500 lbs trailer a tongue weight range of 850 lbs to 1,275 lbs. With this in mind I recommend using a different system like the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control item # BLU27FR. This system has a tongue weight range of 1,000 lbs to 1,300 lbs which would be perfect for your Grand Design.

You will need to use the Replacement Control Key for Yakima Same Key System # Y8007835 to remove your current lock core, but the lock core will need to be unlocked for the control to be able to remove the core. If the lock core is locked you will need to have a locksmith unlock it for you first.

Your 2018 Forest River Rockwood is pre-wired for a Furrion Vision S backup camera, and the answer is yes, you can wire it so that you can use it as an observation camera, allowing you to view the monitor to see what is behind you at all times. To do this you would just need to wire it to the running lights on your trailer and you'll have a view of what is behind you at all times. This will not affect the reverse camera in your truck at all.

In order to find the correct SnapPad RV Jack Pads for your 2016 Forest River Wildcat 5th Wheel Trailer you'll need to note the shape and measure. Unfortunately, we can't say for sure exactly which one you need as the manufacturer could have used more than one system on said trailer depending on their inventory at the time as that is just kind of the way trailer manufacturing works. That said, it's only two things you need to do so once you have these you can choose the correct replacement... view full answer...

The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX we carry only has a single black wire used for powering the jack. My best guess is that the second wire you have is some sort of ground wire, but you'll need to trace it back towards the junction box that it's running to to see what the actual purpose is for it. Once you find what it's spliced to you can trace those wires to find out their purpose.
